The Sistra Symposium

A monthly conversation for women building with intention.

The Sistra Symposium is a virtual gathering for founders, creatives, and operators who care about the ideas shaping what they build.

We meet on the third Wednesday of every month to read, reflect, and have real conversations — the kind that shift how you think, lead, and create.

Attendance is complimentary.
Participation is intentional.
Application required.

Why It Exists

Sistra isn’t only about experiences.
It’s about the ideas shaping what we build.

The Symposium is the space where those ideas are explored — the history, the authorship, the cultural forces behind enterprise and leadership.

In ancient Greece, a symposium was a gathering of thinkers in conversation — challenging, refining, expanding ideas.

That’s the energy here.

If you’re building something with intention, your thinking deserves depth.

How Books Are Chosen

Each selection serves one of three purposes:

Inspire: expand what feels possible.
Empower: strengthen leadership and voice.
Educate: deepen understanding of culture, history, or power.

Some months will stretch perspective.
Some will ground it.
Some will reframe it

March Edition

To Her Credit: Historic Achievements—and the Women Who Actually Made Them Happen

We’re opening the Sistra Symposium with a celebration.

To Her Credit spotlights the women whose ideas, inventions, and cultural contributions shaped history — whether they were formally credited at the time or not.

This isn’t about revisiting omission.
It’s about recognizing authorship.

It’s about remembering that women have always built the world — in science, design, enterprise, media, medicine, and beyond.

Meeting Date: March 18, 2026

What a Session Looks Like

We gather live for one focused hour.

There’s a short opening thought to ground us, and then we move into conversation, guided by a few intentional questions.

We close with a simple reflection so you leave clearer than you arrived.

Book Nominations

The Symposium evolves with the women in the room.

Members may nominate future books that inspire, empower, or educate.

If something shifted your thinking, bring it forward.

Apply to Join

The Symposium is complimentary.

To preserve the tone of the room, participation is application-based and space is limited.

If this feels aligned, submit an application below.
